Board Usage Policy

Using the public discussion boards on Petsafe.com.au can be informative, helpful and entertaining. When users abide by the principles of common sense and decency, the boards are a positive and enjoyable experience for all users. By following the rules listed below the entire community will continue to find the boards helpful, educational and an enjoyable place to meet and converse with other users. Messages posted to the Petsafe.com.au discussion boards by Petsafe.com.au community users are solely the opinion and responsibility of the person posting the message. Petsafe.com.au is not responsible for messages left by Petsafe.com.au users.

Grounds for Immediate Post Removal, Board Suspension and/or Petsafe.com.au Suspension

The following types of postings are cause for immediate post removal, warning, board suspension and/or suspension from the site. Other inappropriate postings not listed below may also warrant removal and/or suspension from the site:

• Posting contact or personal information about another individual without permission.
• Posting material containing profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, or threats of violence.
• Posting material (graphic or text) that is obscene, pornographic or adult in nature.
• Using JavaScript, active or other coding, making repetitive posts, or other actions that interfere with site operations.
• Advertising merchandise, auctions, services or commercial web sites.
• Posting copyright items without the permission of the copyright owner.
• Refusing to follow Petsafe.com.au staff instruction or direction.
• Posting material that in any way violates accepted community standards of decency.
• Using user ID's, or violating any other board posting policy.
• Inappropriate threads, i.e. Violating Petsafe.com.au policy.

Petsafe.com.au may suspend an account from the community boards without suspending them from the site; however, a user suspended for violating policies on the boards will have their account suspended from the entire site due to the existing set-up of the system. Petsafe.com.au may suspend any user who has been previously warned of board policy violations, though we reserve the right to suspend a user immediately depending on the violation. Suspensions may range from 24 hours to permanent.

Notes
When a post is removed from the Petsafe.com.au community chat boards, all the posts that have been submitted by that user will automatically be removed. Individual posts may be removed from the threaded discussion boards, although all posts by a user can be removed if warranted.
